my tv bracket
Our van is a 12' jayco starcraft rear door. We have a 22" lcd tv and got sick of having it on the bench or the table ,so I made a simple bracket to hang the tv from the bars used for lifting the roof.. Have a look at the pics.

What a cleaver idea, it looks great, out of the way and gives you more bench space.

Mally
Love the way it's fitted but a few questions. We have a small 12' van and have a 19" LCD. Being mounted up so high does picture quality decrease (the angle of vision is not good with a LCD) you need to look almost straight at it? Is it too far away if you are in bed? Does anyone know where I can get a bench mounted TV bracket? They all seem to be wall mounted.

Great idea
We have a new Jayco Sterling pop top, with a wall mounted 19' LCD, which is quite low and hard to see when lying in bed, and since I am a fun of "bigger is better" when it comes to TV's. I think I will buy a bigger tele and make a bracket like yours Thanks for the idea Ian

Mally, Our van is 12' and when you are laying in bed it is just about perfect, It actually hangs facing ever so slightly forward.. I have no problems watching it.. Matt
