I came up behind a van today with "www.greynomad101.com" on the back of it, as well as "uhf 40". So, I switched to 40 and introduced myself. Sid came back and explained how he makes a dvd to help new people with caravaning.

Has anyone seen the CD? can I get some feedback on it maybe?

I have had a few vans over the past 4 years but my only big trip was from the east coast to the Flinders and I'm not sure if the DVD is aimed at totally green nomads?

Cheers,
Dave

Dave, I have a copy of GN101 - a mate bought it at the Camping & Caravanning show here in Perth in March. It's definitely worth a squizz and is pretty well suited to green nomads, although even by his own admission Sid does go a bit over the top with what is "absolutely essential". There are a few tips & tricks that may come in handy though.

Cheers.

Just picked a copy at the Brisbane show - it is worth the money for a look, but would not rave about it.

Hey Dave

Like the others, I thought that the DVD was great. My father-in-law bought it for us and he watched it twice before he gave it to us. He loved it and he doesn't even have a van.

Cheers
