Our daughter bought one of them Willem. Bought it locally, not sure where from but probably somewhere like Bunnings. It works well and stores away nice and compact.

Re: A Good Water Hose For RVs.
Hi willem, Having had problems with a few hoses as far as taste of the water, I would like to know how it goes. It sure is handy and lightweight . The problem is, anything I have to do with hoses in the RV will always have to be used for drinking water.

Only use a quality Australian Standards 'Food Grade' water hose. OJ

Last year went to Murrumbateman field day where they were selling those hoses, the lady would not sell me one for the caravan. I cannot remember the exact reason but she said not suitable. Will ask wife when she gets home why and let you know (dementia attach)

Bunnings have a white hose that is suitable. It is rated as food grade, nuturally it's a bit more expensive.

Re: A Good Water Hose For RVs.
The 'clear' food grade hose from Bunnings is fine for filling tanks or direct use of water. It is not recommended taint free for applications where the water may stay in the hose for long periods. For this the blue lined hose is needed.
