Clybucca BP roadhouse 24hour rest stop

Post by Cyclone » Thu Jan 30, 2014 7:59 pm

We are at the Clybuccca roadhouse as I write this. There are three motor homes here as well. This spot is a very busy truck stop and interchange. The truckies are not very happy that we are hear. There has been some abuse on the radio. Comments like you think this is a @&$? Caravan park why don't they F off. I would not recommend staying here.

Just Googled the place. Doesn't appear to have any excuse to exist . Not for us. Cheers G

clybucca is halfway between sydney an brisbane an used as a change over point for drivers if the place is used by motor homes caravans drivers have to find somewhere else to drop trailers an hook up another some times in unsafe places
there are many other place near by( kempsy an macksville) that are much quieter

We have stayed there on 5 or 6 occasions without problem. Always get right over to the side, and never a problem. Can be a bit noisy with trucks coming and going all night but you have to expect that.
