Post New van has arrived.
Well, after a little over six months wait we picked up the new Concept Ascot last Friday from Gosford.
Stayed at the Entrance for three nights to check everything out, and towed home to Gymea today. Eric and Cathy traveled over to check it all out, as they will pick their new one up in April, (It was great to meet you guys).
The van is fantastic. More than we expected, (they added and adjusted a bit).
Tows very well, although I must admit there is a difference between a 16' pop top at around 1400kgs to a 22' full van at just under 2300kgs.
The van is very well appointed and finished. Heaps of cupboards and storage. Tested out the air con on Saturday, (cooool). The ensuite is magic, with shower, toilet, washing machine, and plenty of room.
Will now try and post some photos.
The photos were not taken specifically to post and I will try and get some better ones later.

Congrats on the new van, fantastic choice could not wish for anything better.
Thanks for a great day and letting us check everything out. Still trying to remember all the tips you gave us.
Hope all the caravaners we meet are as friendly and helpfully as you both are.
Cathy is sulking as April seems so far away, but time will fly, we hope.

Looking forward to catching up again somewhere on our trips.

Hi Tony,
Youve got the identical bedroom wardrobes to us,except ours has no mirrors.
But youd be surprised how much stuff you can get in there.

Love your van, you'll never want to come home LOL.

Happy safe travells

Cheers Rod

Thanks all for your wishes.
You are right Rod, we will not want to come home, but it is still 4 - 6 weeks at best for a couple of years.
With regards to the mirrors, there is another one to the left of that photo on a cupboard the size of medicine cabinet, and anothe one in the ensuite.
No excuse not to look beutiful all the time.

Love the rack on the wall behind the stove. Very handy. Think I might keep an eye out for one for our caravan. Maybe might find one at Bendigo Caravan Show this weekend?

Hi Gemini & Leo,
If you buy a Concept Ascot, you will get the rack for nothing.
