LOOOOOVELY. Do I detect a venetian drooping over the bed? I'm only jealous, I'm not allowed to have venetians.

Hi diwayne, how does your Pathfinder handle the van? I see you have a weight dist hitch. Did you hitch to a Nissan towbar or install your own choice of aftermarket? It also is riding very level and I know its duall axle but can you tell me the tow-ball weight and if you installed air bags or simialr? I have a new Pathfinder and whilst my van will only be approx 1800kg, its a single axle with approx 200kg tow-ball weight. My intention is to use a Hayman Reese tow-bar with a HR WDW and have yet to decide if I need Poly-airs or similar. Any advice would be appreciated.
Steve

Hi brickus yes you are correct drooping venetion now replaced.webbo51 we used a haymen reece wdh and upgraded the suspension to old man emu. After two trips away we have traded the Pathy on a new 200 series cruiser. Delivery date late Feb early March, the Pathy struggled. regards Wayne.

I figure yours is/was the ser3 so not really surprised the Pathy struggled, at ATM of 2900kg, its pretty much on the limit. The LC shouldn't have any trouble at all. We're expecting ATM of less than 1900kg so hopefully a very different scenario.

Thanks Wayne, I was 80kg out. It still makes me a little more comfortable with the 1900kg I'm expecting. Particularly when I factor in the upgraded motor of the 2010 Pathy. Here's hoping anyway.
With the grunt and towing capacity of the LC, you'll only be at 80% of its limit whereas your Pathy was at 94%.

Hi Webbo51 The nav has just read your post. The question she just asked me was does that mean I can take more clothes. Regards Wayne
