Y62 Pootrol Fuel Consumption

Fuel consumption. Firstly the car came with a full tank so needed to use some before I could record some figures. I am putting all the figures here so there are no doubts about the calculations.
First fill at 662 kilometres 111.64 litres
Second fill 1109 Kilometres 75.18 litres
1109-662=447
75.18x100=7518/447= 16.8L/100Ks
This is pretty close to what the trip computer is telling me.
This is city driving short trips only so far. No towing. I have been a bit naughty and done a bit of hooning and put the boot in a couple of times to see what it would do. Love the power.

Hi Sid,
Very impressive for a big V8 petrol vehicle.

I have not taken any fuel measurements on my 200 Series but going off the fuel consumption gauge which seems to line up with my mental calcs it is saying 14.6ltr/100Kms around town.
Almost the same as my old 100 Series. I think I must be a bit of a lead foot as most fuel consumption figures I see are always better than mine.

I hope to get on the road after the next school holidays and then will see if it is as good as the 100 Series.

Sid you did warn me that these new Nissans are good.
