Bullbars
Can anyone advise me on the weight of an alloy bullbar and a steel bar for a mazda bt50 and does anyone own one and what do they think of them as a tow vehicle and for touring?

Re: Bullbars
Hi Keith & Sue, We have a Mazda BT50 SDX 4x4 and in our opinion it is a fantastic unit both for towing and touring. We pull a 15ft Jayco Discovery so not a lot of work for it but none the less it does the job very well. Fuel economy is also very good but then again that will depend on your driving habits.
Our unit came with a factory fitted alloy bar and one would imagine that it would weigh somewhat less than a steel one. Having previously had a Courier 4x4 without a bull bar I haven't noticed any difference in steering or suspension for having it.
Good luck with your deliberations.
