The Pop-top's Best Friend!

RV Airlifters is the brainchild of Queenslander, Tim Beckett. Observing the problem of lifting the poptop roof on caravans, Tim thought ‘there must be a better way’. The modern RV can feature an assortment of gadgets on its roof. Solar panels, aerials and perhaps a retro-fit air-conditioner, and before you know it the spring-loaded scissor arms don’t seem to be helping much anymore. Bigger, stronger springs will help lift the roof, but then you have the opposite problem trying to get it back down.

If you can imagine the convenience of raising the roof with no more effort than turning on a light, RV Airlifters may be for you. Four custom-sized airbags attach near the corners of the roof, between the pop-top and the top of the van. At the flick of a switch, the small on-board compressor (supplied) pumps the bags up and lifts the roof in a matter of seconds.

You can easily install the system yourself, or have it professionally fitted. The airbags simply secure using self-drilling tech screws. They are linked with airline that simply pushes into the stainless steel air fittings, and routed inside to a convenient spot for the compressor.
