Cards, cards and more cards
How do people manage the proliferation of cards we seem to have to carry. I have 12 cards in my wallet and a couple of others I leave behind.
I carry very little folding stuff but when I use it then the coins I have to stuff in my wallet so with all of that it makes my wallet both bulky and heavy.
When I am away I now have to carry a man bag with all this crap in it.
My phone is ok it is in my top pocket and I never bend more than 90deg so it doesn’t fall out.

I use a man-bag for the same reasons, but mine also carries my wine/water bottle and often Annes as well, plus phone and music stuff, picks and clips etc.
Coinage ? I carry it once, back to the van then home into a bucket.

I put coins in pockets and tuner batteries in the wallet, they're thin and flat.

If you have a smart phone, download an app called Stocard and you can put most of your cards(not banking"on your phone and then you do not need to carry so many cards with you.

Re: Cards, cards and more cards
I leave all the store cards at home. If you make a purchase they always ask if your a member any way. Then it "yep sure am but my cards at home." Ok whats your phone number? Yep you are a member.
"So what discount do I get to day" Oh none it was on special. "Then why bother with my card details" Oh we just do it as standard in case there are discounts.
"Ok so you know there is no discount on this thing and being a sole purchase, why did you bother with all that card rigmarole ?' ..... I get a stunned mullet look and an I dunno.....
I don't get how a shop manager doesn't see this going on and put a stop to it.

Re: Cards, cards and more cards
I’m not currently at home so the problem of cards has arisen. The problem also happens at home and if I lighten my wallet of cards I then forget to put them back and I find I need them.
I’ll get that app when I get home and try it.
I have seen people tapping with their phone so I suppose some financial cards can be linked to a smart phone, I know boarding passes can be used that way as when I was in Hong Kong a couple of yrs ago I booked some on line excursions when I was there and all the info came back by email so I just fronted up gave them the phone and they scanned the square barcode thing.
