The CMCA has also changed it’s “Wanderer’ magazine distribution terms….. From now on if members want a hard copy, they will be charged $2.00 per issue. No charge for viewing the mag on line.

Previously, the Wanderer was issued as part of the annual membership cost. If you want a hard copy from now on, annual membership will increase by $24.00.

It’s such a fantastic mag that I have no hesitation in paying the extra.

Hi Members. Following some individual member queries about magazine subscriptions I asked management for a formal statement and it follows:

Dear Valued CandM Readers,

Unfortunately we are unable to provide subscriptions with any of our titles, as it is no longer cost effective to offer these at a reduced rate.

Caravan and Motorhome on Tour will still be available at retail outlets such as Newsagents and Supermarkets so our valued readers will still be able to keep up to date with the latest news and all of Fred’s adventures.

Kind Regards

The EMG Management

Update: I was asked here about Digital Subscriptions. Further clarification states they will cease too and leave retail outlets as the only source of the magazine.

Cheers

It is sad too see what will inevitably soon be the end of printed magazines. Paper costs in Australia have rocketed over the past few years, and advt revenue has diminished. Further, postage costs continue to rise.

Collyn
The problem is not what people do not know, it is what they think they know that simply isn’t true.

Yep Collin, but that doesn’t explain the demise of the Digital Version.

I would imaging that it would be produced to print the hard copy from the newsagents.

I stopped my subscription about a year ago. I still have about 20 unopened issues in the caravan I read them when I have nothing to do.
Yes my life needs to change.??

Only a matter of time I would think.

Do you reckon it could spell the demise of the Forum?

It has been awhile since I purchased a copy but had a hunt around in the newsagent and on the shelf in the supermarket and cannot find a copy to purchase if I wanted one.
