REPLY TO LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS

Post by Fred W » Wed Jan 25, 2012 7:07 am

Yes, you’re right-I mostly if not always wear long sleeved shirts and they can be uncomfortable in hot weather. I wear them to reduce sun exposure as I, like many others, have frequent skin cancer operations. Long sleeves also help when ever loving sandflies and mosquitoes come along.

I made the mistake when I was younger of being often in the sun with spearfishing or frequent trips to Darwin in mid summer-so now I’m paying the price. My northern Scottish genes have a lot to answer for.

Thanks for watching the DVD’s and being a part of C&M On Tour. The people I meet are great to talk to and the places are unbelievable. You’re ideas and suggestions are valuable and I’m using them to plan my trips this year, so keep them coming.

Hope to meet you one day on the road, perhaps in 2012 if you’re heading North.

Regards

Fred

Hi Fred,
I don’t want to get started on shirt manufacturers, I am taking 3 of them to court now for false advertising.
You buy ’em in a box, nice and flat and when you get ’em home, put ’em on and there is this great big bulge right in the middle.
They got a lot to answer for I reckon.

The bulge is known as the veranda over the toy shop.

Problem is for some the toy shop’s been closed and out of business for a few years.
