North of Adelaide just past the vast Bolivar Sewage works you will find the turn off to this Museum.
The standard of restoration on the old trams is, well, superlatives fail me… Quite a few of the cars are unique some well into their second century of use….

This is one place I get very emotional…. the Original Glenelg H cars are here and run regularly as are some Sydney and Melboure trams. The valuable stock is kept in the depot till an afficiando turns up…
Once again show no enthusiasm or you will get the full tour. Last time I was there the Conductress said she was gald she did not have to swing along the foot board collecting fares on a toastrack tram…

TT,
One of the most enjoyable things I did last year was ride the double decker trams in Hong Kong.
Efficient for over 100 years and still cheap.

Was the tram you were on going very fast? was there a woman downstairs (in the lower class) screaming "your going to fast, your going to fast" at the Motorman?
If not then I wasn’t driving….
Time before last in HK I met up with a bunch of tram tragics from the UK and we were taking turns driving a special hired tram around at night, guess who scored Tin Toc Lane??? yeah well little narrow street single track just after the last race at Happy Valley…. a seething hoard of humanity just walking everywhere, very exciting. Fortunatley the conductress had be sent back to the hotel to have a drink with our son…
