Post Mannum Free Camp for Big Rigs
If you haven’t stayed there do yourself a favour and do it!! We spent a night there and it is just across the river from the Mannum Caravan Park and is $10 a night with clean toilets. We loved it there and had a great fire too.

You’re right Hels, it’s a great spot, that was our intro to free camping to the Daughter and Son-I-L and the grandies, the $10 was introduced a couple of weeks later to put off some of the yobbos who used to use it for parties and put off the families.

Hi Hels
When we toured last year we stayed at Mannum. We were there for a long weekend and we had one night in Haythorpe Park which is on the eastern side of the ferry crossing which was free of charge with no set parking sites. We then moved to Bolto Reserve on the western side which was more organised parking and cost $10 per night. Both parking areas had clean toilets. The Bolto Reserve is payable by putting money into an envelope and placing into the box behind the toilet block. They supply an envelope with a tear-off receipt to place on your RV. We found Haythorpe Park to have a bit of traffic noise until about 10.00 at night whereas Bolto Reserve is where the road finishes and quieter. Both parks will handle big rigs.
