Runs all day everyday. You drive on one end and drive off the other. Caravans are no problems. Actually very enjoyable. Google Queenscliff Ferry for prices. Price is dependant on length.

Hi Geoff,
One clue is catch the 8:00am ferry or earlier as they have a special deal for caravans which can save quite a few dollars if your van is long. We did not book but probably a good option. Last year from memory it cost about $80.00 or there about for the early ferry for two people car and van.

Also after arriving at Sorrento only 10minutes away is Peninsula hot springs: http://www.peninsulahotsprings.com/home-page Very enjoyable day but if you are going to the springs with the van get there early as they really don’t allow for vans but we managed to get a spot. We drove from the 8:00am ferry from Sorrento to the springs and parked with the van but I would not leave it much longer.
