At the end of the day, I think COMMON SENSE is the key to these sort of issues, BUT!!!
Common Sense cannot be bought, given or manufactured. It is a learning curve,and at some times it is an expensive lesson to fail.

Good thread indeed and certainly food for thought for anyone wanting to add weight to the rear (or even front) of the vanChonga wrote:G'Day,

The scenario I outlined was of a heavily weighted load on a rear bumper shaking up and down 100mm. As you know if you bend a piece of metal back and forth long enough it will eventually crack and/or break.
As I said before, check your weights and measures before adding
