Toilet Cassette Treatment
G'day all. We always used the Woolies home brand nappy treatment in the toilet cassette - worked well but it doesn't seem to be available any more.
Does anyone know if there is an equivalent product? If not, what else is recommended?
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks, Creedo

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
It is available if you really look for it, but we have found not all Woolworths shops have it on the shelf.
Saw some in Bunbury store yesterday. You can only get it in 1 kg containers now. In WA the price is $4.09.

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
I believe its now called Laundry soaker rather than Nappy treatment, but as long as the active ingredient is Sodium percarbonate its the same thing. Look for the highest level of sodium percarbonate that you can find.

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
Hi Creedo
I'm sure that all of the supermarkets have their own home brand of Nappy Treatment.
Like Azure said, as long as it has the Sodium Percarbonate. Should be around 35%!

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
Yes, Azhure has it; it is Homebrand Laundry Soaker & Inwash Booster. Google “Toilets: What types can you get? What about chemical alternatives?” for an article about the latest names of the most widely available alternatives and how to use them.

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
I don't recommend adding Eucalyptus oil.

Buy ours at Aldi. add a few drops of virgin olive oil to slider now and then to keep seals soft.

Re: Toilet Cassette Treatment
While the packaging might change all one has to do as others have said look at the various products and when you find one that says active ingredient Sodium per carbonate 34/35% that is the same as the home brand nappy soaker and the one that will work.
Cheers Graeme
