Vacuum Sealer/heat sealer's for Food
Hi again Just wanting to know if many people use one of these Vacuum/heat seal machines for the food...they appear to be a good space saver in the freezer... If anyone likes and uses one - any brands that can be recommended would be great - we have been looking on eBay... Thank you in advance for any information... Gary & Sheree

Hi Gary & Sheree, we use the Lumina brand from Aldi. The sealer bags come in rolls, 6 meters long, so you can use whatever length bag suits your needs x 28cm wide. The sealer machine has a 'seal only' function, to seal the end of the roll, as well as a 'vaccum and seal' function. Very happy with it. Sorry, can't help you with price, but it was quite reasonable.
Colin.

Hi Gary & Sheree, Check out the Kogan website. I got my usual Frugal Friday email the other day and they have a Vacuum Sealer unit for $59. You can also purchase 2x3m rolls of the plastic wrap for an additional $19 and free postage. A good price for both if you are interested.

I run about 100 Dorper Sheep on my plot and I do a bit of home killing.
I got a Eurolab from Ebay and I have given it a good workout over the last few years (2 or 3 lambs at a time), it has given me no problems.
