Hi and thank you all for your replies and input.
I did talk to the owner of May West Caravans here in Melbourne. This gent tows all his vans and trailers including 3 axle with a Jeep and had nothing but praise for them.
Looks Like I'm going to have to buy a bigger boat

At least you will have an alternative vehicle with the "bigger Boat" to get you home.

Had my Jeep GC since 2012 pulling 3000kg Lotus (loaded), 100000km on the clock and around 70000km under tow, had no issues at all, recent Darwin trip averaged 15lt/100.
