Gas regs and bottle changing know how

The regs are split into sections and do a fair bit of cross referencing.
Ot’s pic is a great one to show a good system.

What I am doing here is by no means The “Unabridged Almanac”.

Please appreciate that to get all this together is a fair bit of work and don’t take it to heart if you disagree or want it done your way.
I am trying to make the forum interesting and informative. And hopefully a reference for folks that are interested.
I can find no illustration for vans at the moment but we have now a good pic from OT.

DT, I was under the pump when I posted my example. I neglected to credit you for your initiative. I know many of us put a lot of time into such posts.

I take no credit for my gas bottle config. Mr Roadstar set it up this way nearly 10 years ago and I just followed suit whenever I removed and refitted the bottles without giving any thought to why they were that way. Now I know why

That pic of mine was only about my bike rack centre post but it happened to include the gas bottles. I hunted around looking for any pic that showed the gas config and that was a good example.

Hi OT,
Nothings a problem and I reckon there are probably not too many bottles with the relief valve pointing away from the actual van. To be honest this is the first time I actually realised the implications.
In a fire though, I reckon it would be a hard thing to save the van.
I too am learning some interesting facts.
I am having some hiccups with Photo bucket so have to sort out a few things to continue.
