Issue 261

Post by gregnsue » Mon Jun 04, 2018 4:25 pm

Issue 261 has today landed in my mail box WITHOUT any DVD. It has 114 pages if which 46 are full page ads

At least it is an improvement over issue 260 which only had 109 pages but did come with a DVD

Not happy Jan!

Let my subscription lapse apprx 6 mths ago after having been a subscriber since day 1.

Not even a follow letter from them.

What a change from several years ago when they used to ring you up and annoy you several times a year.

The size/quality of the magazine has dropped greatly in recent years and itt is now the same topics repeated ad nauseam.

Must agree with the above comments.
I dropped out of the circulation some 18 months ago. I also did not receive any follow up as to why I cancelled. I see from above that they have not made much progress in improving the Mag.

I stopped mine a few years ago due to constant reminders and offers. I mean you have a year in front and they wanted to sell another year. It just got too annoying. :)

Maybe it made them too cautious.
I now have to note that I cannot accept ownership, truth, quality, or veracity, of articles I may quote off the internet.

Agree with all of the above and have also cancelled about 6 months ago. I must say though that it must be difficult to think of new things to print, most of the travel sections were just adds for the shops/parks they visit. How many times can you cover WDH, brakes and load distribution, besides being told how great the Mazda, Jeep, MUX etc were, same goes for the vans cant remember all the vans that Fred had and they were all the greatest. The caravan reviews were no better, but the same goes for other publications, they have to pay the bills, dont they, but they wont be getting me back anytime soon.
