Post Waeco fridge/freezer
Anyone have any idea how much current draw a waeco 35 on freezer has?
I have a 100 ah battery in car to run the fridge and copes fine with the fridge but can’t keep up with the freezer for more than a few hours. It works fine while the battery is being recharged e.g. Whilst driving. I have 120 w solar connection and wonder if that would be enough to keep it freezing when the vehicle is stationary.

your Waeco 35 will draw 6-7amps and if you have it set to freeze it could be running 24/7, I have found the digital tempetature readout on the Waecos to be ambitious so you should check the freezer temperature to ensure to is working to it’s best and cycling on and off, also because the heat from the motor in a Waeco goes up and into the fridge cabinet your fridge motor could be running more than it is off.
