 Off road suspension

After having served 21years in the ADF, (6years Army/15years RAAF) i can say with some knowledge that the Australian Army/ ADF does not use simplicity suspension on thier trailers.

They use a Mil spec suspension systems (MC2).

What is this MC2 spec. It's not the military designation for Simplicity is it?

If you have a look at this brochure you will see a picture of an army trailer. Then if you go to this catalogue you will see "Australian Army and Air Force on the off road 1250kg trailer" under the heading "Simplicity Axles are used by:"

I don't think that the manufacturers would have made the claims if they could not substantiate them. Can you give us a link to see what MC2 is?

Post offroad suspension
G'day Peter, I had a t/van which had mc2 suspension. They are made by Tracktrailer in Melbourne. They also have a contract to supply the aust. army.
