 Dirt roads. Do we need an off roader

Most Caravans will travel dirt roads, the suspension you choose will determin how fast and efficently you do it. Lets face it, 60 years ago they all used Beams Axles!!

Coxy, I think you're referring to Extended Warranty aren't you, not the original manufacturers warranty supplied with a van when new.

Is that right ?

Occasional trips down the dirt/gravel roads will be fine with a 'road style' van of reasonable build quality. Drop your tyre pressures and speed - you will be fine

A van can be a good vehicle for traveling on some dirt roads but a 4wd is a much better option ... we don't do a lot of suspension packages for vans as it is a small market place ... We have just done some development work for a company called Earth Cruiser the have a web sit and could answer some questions you may have ..
