Post Re: The Caravan Man
Visited the Caravan Man site and must say, "That it did not turn me on"
Just a average site with very little info from the "Caravan Man ex pert"
Watched a Caravan & Motoring show on Aurora with this guy talking about Dometic portable fridges. The one he had on the screen that I wanted more info on was the 12v 240 and the gas unit. He said absolutely Zip in regards to that model.
I am sure that many nomads would want to know a bit about the gas component especially the free campers.
Let's hope he has a lot more info for us in 2011 and not just the promo for Dometic. No doubt they are a big sponsor of his.
Not impressed with the guy or his site. Hope it is more informative in 2011. Now having said that I will stay tuned to see what transpires.

Jay & Dee,
you are so right. The caravan man does very little on his web site that is of interest to me either. He does seem to have a huge reliance on dometic products. Perhaps they are the brand that he specialises in or he only sells that brand. Either way, it's good to see all the competition before you buy anything. So research is the only answer and aint we lucky to have the internet? My phone bills have improved dramatically since the internet has been available for us when we travel.

Good luck with your research. 8-)

I like you have saved heaps on the phone bill since the internet. The biggest bonus of all is Skype, as we have a family living in Hing Kong and one doing the trip around the block. The internet costs are covered by the savings on skype.
Sorry if this is a little off topic.
Now!!! On the Topic.....But it also seems to me that the Caravan man has to revisit the basics, to improve his site and give us more informative info.
