We always expect the enemy to attack at 0 dark hundred so I’m always ready and waiting with coffee in hand and the flag at the top top the mast.
At dusk hundred the flag comes down soon after I have completed the evening clearing patrol (puting the rubbish in the bin).
Then after carrying out research obtained from the information type channels on Foxtel I retire at 2000 hrs for the purpose of reinvigorating my body for the coming days rigors.
It is a hard life being an ex…….. oh yeah ………Soldier! Lest I forget!

Hi Diwayne, got one like that myself, just a different colour. Enough talk about these old fellas with the weak bladders  , having to get out of bed early. When I am on holidays, I get out of bed when I want to.

Enjoy your new rig and hopefully it will serve you well for many years

Cheers Chris

Hi rredbeak. Don’t get us mixed up with Chardonnay set we also love to free camp and do so 85% of the time. My wife has a eye for design and detail and knows what she wants. But she is more than happy to sit around a smokey camp fire in the middle of bumf—k no where !! HI chris how did the Tassie trip go ?
