Found next to Lake Ainsworth and opposite Seven Mile Beach, Lake Ainsworth Holiday Park is truly a paradise to stay at. Just a 10 minute walk to the seaside shopping village of Lennox Head, the park is a great place to relax.

With waterfront views, the park is a great spot to sit and unwind after a day at the beach or out exploring the nearby towns. The powered grassed sites are found near the beach or lake for easy access and there are 12 powered slab sites also available. With some sites drive through, there is a great mix to suit everybody’s needs. For those without an RV, there is plenty of other accommodation, from deluxe villas, to the studio styled ensuite or basic cabins.

The four amenity blocks are close to sites and each come with a laundry, while one has a camp kitchen attached. The park has wi-fi, bbqs, dump point, and a family bathroom available.

Since the beach is so close, fishing might be the order of the day. Luckily Lake Ainsworth has a kiosk that sells bait and fishing licenses, so you don’t have to go very far at all. If you don’t make a catch the Bowling Club is close by for an easy dinner and a stroll into town is just minutes away.

The park offers great customer service and staff are always there with a smile, ready to lend a hand. They have tourist information to help you choose where you want to go, whether it be 4WDing on Seven Mile Beach, a visit to Macadamia Castle or the House With No Steps. Close to Ballina and Byron Bay, the park is an ideal base to explore the NSW North Coast.

Forster Beach Holiday Park has got to be the Holiday Coast's best accommodation location. We stayed here and parked right up against the inlet where you could hear the water from your RV. The sunset over Wallis Lake was breathtaking and we saw dolphins swim past.
The park is located in the heart of Forster and there is no need to drive anywhere. You can walk down to the main street filled with fabulous restaurants and cafes or to the neighbouring patrolled surf beach, which has ocean baths at the southern end. The many coastal walks will take you to breathtaking lookouts.
The facilities were well cared for and prices very keen. There is a camp kitchen, two large BBQs areas and two smaller areas, three recently refurbished amenity blocks, playground, boat ramp and free fish cleaning facilities. For a great fishing spot close to your RV’s doorstep, try Forster Main Beach or Forster Breakwall next to the park. Wallis Lake is also a great spot for catching flathead.
Sites are grassed and some are available as drive-through sites for large vans or motorhomes. Lakeside sites sit close to the water, while beach sites are adjacent to the surf lifesaving club. There are also elevated sites that have great views over Wallis lake. There are three different styles of cabins available too – standard, deluxe and luxury villa for those without a RV. All cabins are modern, comfy and sleep up to five people.
If you get the chance to head to Forster, you won’t be disappointed if you stay at beautiful Forster Beach Caravan Park.
