The RVing lifestyle is one that's ripe for the picking as far as families are concerned. The ability to affordably and enjoyably travel Australia with your family has never been an easier dream to achieve, with the Revivor from Nova Caravans. Focussing on the delicate balance of affordability and inclusions, Nova has managed to build a van that will meet the needs of the aspiring RV family.

A unique foldaway bunk bed set up in the rear of the van is a star feature, and the big selling point that allows this well priced RV to service travelling parties with more than two members. To ensure the van can take the wear and tear that can often come with travelling with a family, Nova has also opted for nine-leaf spring packs over the more common seven leaf, which is the start of a truly robust chassis. All in all, the Revivor is sure to have the whole family out enjoying all that Australia has to offer.

Nova has included a number of features that enable you and your family to stay outside for as much of your trip as possible. This fold-down table is a great area to prepare quick lunches, while still being able to enjoy the sunshine for as long as the day will permit.

By day, the dinette is cavernous by dual-axle van standards, let alone single axle. There is enough room to seat large families for breakfast all at once if the weather isn't looking too good outside, and it converts easily to a bed to sleep an extra person at the end of the day.

Once the day is done and it's time to turn in, a bed converts from the dinette area to sleep family or friends. Convertible sleeping spaces are a great way to maximise the usability of your van, while still keeping manufacturing and travel costs low. Spaces such as this aren't as common in single-axle vans as they are in dual, so it's great to see Nova going to the extra design and manufacturing effort to accommodate growing families.

The cabinets on either side of the master bed open out to reveal hanging closet space. A fl at-screen television mounts on a swinging arm to accommodate master bed, dinette and bunk bed viewing arrangements which helps keep the whole family entertained while on the road.

A stove and grill is built into the cabinetry of the kitchen, and is an easy-to-use unit. Granite finish bench tops and splashbacks are also a good feature, as they're both attractive and easy to clean. A stainless steel sink and flick mixer taps finish the kitchen area off nicely.

The attention to detail is a highlight of the Revivor. The cabinetry that surrounds the bed, for example, is finished with chrome-styled handles, and bedside tables slide out from the upright columns. The bed lifts up to reveal plenty of storage space underneath, in case you find yourself in need of some extra room for the family's suitcases.

A tunnel boot provides enough space to store all of your family's belongings. As the Revivor is a family-orientated van, features such as this are a great way to ensure everyone is accommodated during your next trip. The boot has even been lined with gal steel to ensure your goods are well and truly protected during transit.

Two poly water tanks mount underneath the floor, strapped firmly in place. This is one of the best places to store your water, as it is out of the way and keeps the van travelling with a low centre of gravity. The lower the better is the general rule here. An external tap is plumbed in for outside wash offs or fill ups.

Chequerplate detail acts as a kickboard for the entry to the van. This is another good example of the attention to detail Nova has given, by building up a van that can truly withstand the often harsh punishment that travelling families can dish out. Fifteen-inch alloy wheels offset the rest of the van nicely, and are a quality finish to a quality package.

Often caravans employ five-pack or seven-pack leaf springs to keep their vans suspended. This is fine for normal caravan use, but Nova has opted to increase their count to nine leaves per side. This provides virtually unbreakable suspension strength and gives the Revivor some genuine durability as far as the chassis is concerned.
