Deep in the heart of Gulf Country along the Savannah Way lies a one-million acre station known as Lorella Springs Wilderness Park. This is a spectacular slice of the true Aussie outback and has some of the most remote and rugged countryside on earth. With this sort of country, you just know that it’s going to harbour all kinds of goodies and you can bet a stay here is never forgotten.

There are plenty of great 4WD tracks, camping and barra fishing on the Rosie River, huge gorges to explore, hot thermal springs, wild buffalo, salt water crocs – you name it and it’s here. You can camp by the homestead or take the van down to the boat ramp (some 80km of off-road driving from the homestead) and set up by the river for the fishing experience of a lifetime. This is the NT at its finest – a slice of the Top End all to yourself!

Spanning 1100km along the central WA coast, the Coral Coast area holds many highlights, but nothing quite like Quobba Station and Red Bluff. The base camp at Quobba Station is a pet friendly spot right on the Ningaloo Reef coastline. Not only is the region known for incredible fishing – it’s known for being a productive beef producing region, meaning there’s a number of stations offering access to arguably Australia’s most pristine coastline.

For a true Coral Coast experience, sneak down to below Red Bluff at low tide and have a cool drink sitting in the naturally formed rock pool spas there!
