The 2007 Tamworth Country Music Festival is set to reach new heights this year so if you’re in the area in January, be sure to visit the Country Music capital of Australia and experience the fantastic atmosphere of this event. This world class festival-now in its 35th year has launched the careers of many talented country music artists. The line up for this year looks amazing with musicians from wide variety of genres performing including Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers and the John Butler Trio plus favourites Troy Cassar-Daley, Gina Jeffreys, Adam Harvey, Sara Storer, Lee Kernaghan and Felicity Urquhart. The week’s celebrations of country music will wind up with the Awards’ evening to be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 27 January, 2007, where the best of the best will be recognised for their contribution toward the Australian country music industry. The festival will run from Friday 19th –Sunday 28th of January and the city of Tamworth is expecting an influx of 50 000 plus visitors.
