Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster and the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster festival returns to Kununurra in 2007, bigger and better than ever and promising something for everyone. The colourful two-week festival runs from Friday, May 18 through until the long weekend of Monday, June 4, 2007. The Muster is a unique celebration of the talented East Kimberley community, showcasing its diverse culture, stunning landscape, friendly hospitality and unique Kimberley spirit. With around 45 events held across the two weeks, there are endless things to see and do, including a rodeo challenge by the Kununurra Bushmen’s Rodeo Association with entertainment by country music star Adam Harvey, a cooking master class by renowned chef Chris Taylor from Fraser’s Restaurant, plus a 4WD car rally, market days, live music and performances, a basketball carnival, cruises, art exhibitions, Argyle Diamond mine visits, and a host of other special events and sightseeing tours. The closing highlight of the Muster is the multi-award-winning Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience concert. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, June 2 and will be headlined by Australian pop music legend Marcia Hines. Set on the banks of Kununurra’s stunning Ord River and hosted by entertainer James Blundell, the concert will coincide with a magical full moon. Hines, accompanied by her seven-piece band, will lead the sensational entertainment line-up, which also features the Australian Army Band, plus a host of talented Kimberley musicians and entertainers.
