Caravan and Camping Industry Wins Prestigious NSW Tourism Award The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) was recently awarded a New South Wales Tourism Award for the NSW Caravan, Camping, 4WD and Holiday Supershow. CCIA also received an Award of Distinction for the NSW Caravan & Camping, Holiday & Touring Guide 2006. The CCIA Supershow is hailed as one of the best leisure events in NSW. It attracts around 90,000 visitors each year to browse and buy from a huge range of products and services, exhibited at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Parramatta. CEO of the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW, Mr Barry Baillie, said the success of the Supershow was a significant achievement for the industry. “We are overwhelmed that the Supershow has won this award and is recognised for its contribution to tourism in NSW,” said Mr Baillie. The CCIA also took out an award in the very competitive media category. The NSW Caravan & Camping, Holiday & Touring Guide received an award of distinction – another significant milestone for the CCIA. The guide includes references to a wide range of holiday parks, dealers and manufacturers from all over NSW. CCIA CEO, Barry Baillie, said he was proud of the The NSW Caravan & Camping, Holiday & Touring Guide and the value it brought to travellers. The 2007 NSW Caravan, Camping, 4WD and Holiday Supershow will be held on 14-22 April 2007 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse and the next issue of the NSW Caravan & Camping, Holiday & Touring Guide will be released in early 2007.
