Ukulele Wingding - Traralgon Vic

Post by Lance » Sat Oct 06, 2018 12:06 pm

Traralgon, Sat Oct 27th

This is the first time this one has been held and with good support it will become an annual event.
This will be a one day event but hopefully it will be expanded next year to the full weekend.

The Wingding consists of 2 concurrent afternoon workshops. An intermediate to advanced workshop run by the very talented Sarah Carroll and ukulele basics facilitated by community musician Margaret Crichton.
Late afternoon will see a Strum Session facilitated by Caylee (Di Stephens and Julie Bradley).
To top off the event, an Evening Concert will showcase local ukulele groups and of course Sarah and Margaret.

The venue is Liddiard Road Primary School Traralgon. Registration opens 1:30pm.
Cost: workshops & concert, $20.00 evening concert only $5.00

Very popular in its day Hans, but the Uke is a lot more versatile than that, and gaining in popularity.
Get along to a Uke meeting somewhere and have a look and a play.
