Perth region

Post by RogerD » Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:25 pm

Will be travelling down the west coast Aug-Sep and would like to stay somewhere near Perth for a few days or a week. Would like a reasonably priced park within reach of the city by public transport, spacious sites, not too fussy about the amenities. Planning on a night or two at Yanchep NP, but it's still over 50km from Perth, so something closer would be good.

Being close to public transport makes things difficult. Yanchep is definitely nowhere near transport. Close to Perth with good transport is Perth Central caravan park

I haven't seen the park myself but is close to Perth and has a good bus service

Karrinyup Waters Resort is close to train and bus transport Roger. My daughter stayed there a few times to take her children to activities in and around the city for school holidays and found it a good park. Only drawback for some is no pets.
