The vinyl is easy to clean and dry than canvas. I prefer the canvas as it as it is a more natural product and breaths. The vinyl seems to be a bit hotter.

Canvas is our choice

Hi Roger,

We have had both.

Much prefer canvas due to being lighter.

The Kakadu Annex was OK but much heavier.

We were told to fold the vinyl annex with the colour facing inwards so it would not rub and show the scuff marks.

Also, we prefer the Aussie Travller storm bar system that supports the end walls. Much better than the Kakadu pole type bars. Easy to hang shde cloth walls if needed.

End walls are much easier to put up and take down with the Aussie Traveller system.

We also had our long awning wall, made in two sections with a zipper in the middle. Light and easy to handle, and also gives the opportunity to fit 'half a wall' if need be.

Hope this helps,
