By the time you read this, I’ll be off on an extended honeymoon somewhere in Europe with Nik, my husband. So, these are my final scribblings for C&M. And it is a little hard to write.
I’ve been with Express Publications for five-and-a-half years, three of which I’ve been on C&M. For 18 months of that time, I’ve been sitting in the editor’s chair. And I’ve had a damn good time. Not only have I been lucky enough to travel all over Australia – I’ve been doing it for work!
I feel like I’m leaving C&M a more enriched person. Not just from the places I’ve been, things I’ve done and stuff I’ve learnt, but because of the people I’ve encountered. I’ve met loads of RVers on the road, via email and on the phone. I’ve been to piles of rallies and been initiated into a variety of clubs.
And of course the C&M team. Gil Schott is honestly the best bloke I’ve ever worked for. There’s Tim, Carly, Dijana, Roothy and Anthony Kilner. A great bunch of workmates who I am really going to miss.

It has been a bit of a crazy period over the past few weeks at C&M. As you probably already know, editor Sim has left to get married and move on to other projects. It is definitely going to take a while to get used to her not being around.
But don’t worry, the rest of us will go on producing the magazine you know and love. We might even spruce it up a bit. |
