Planning a trip around Oz is no easy feat – there is literally so much to see that it becomes very difficult to decide where to visit in your travels. The Internet is an excellent source of information for RV travellers planning a round-Oz route, so here’s a collection of sites to help you start organising your next trip.

What better place to start planning than right here. There’s plenty of handy travelling info, or you can get advice from other vanners and motorhomers through the forum.

This site is the best place to go for online maps and driving directions. These can be very helpful when it comes to planning a route.

Go See Australia – www.goseeaustralia.com.au
This site has a directory of over 2700 van parks across Australia, to help you find somewhere to park your van for a night. The site also has a trip planner and plenty of useful articles about touring.

Exploroz – www.exploroz.com
Exploroz is an excellent site for those wanting to travel through regional or outback Australia. There are detailed articles on everything from travelling with kids to communication on the road, and even a handy discussion forum.

Caravaners Forum – groups.msn.com/Caravanersforum/messageboard
This forum has posts on anything and everything related to caravanning. It’s a very good spot to get all sorts of useful advice from other vanners.

This site is a collection of reviews of van parks all across the country. All the reviews are submitted by caravanners, so you simply get the unbiased opinions of other travellers.

Weather forecasts and climate statistics can be very useful to help you decide what parts of Oz to visit at particular times of the year.

This is an excellent travel guide to over 1500 Australian cities and towns. Use it to find out what attractions to visit in each place you pass through.
